WOMEN HEALTH CHECK UP PROGRAMME
The Oasis Institute has arranged "women health check up" in collaboration with "prabhat newspaper" on for the inauguration programme Dr. Snehal padale (corporator) was called as chief guest & Dr. Mukta Umerji as a guest of honor.
During the workshop blood sugar, hemoglobin, stenography & Pap smear tests were arranged to rule out common health problems in all age groups of women, like anemia, diabetes, pelvic problems & cervical cancer.
INAUGURATION OF "AROGYAMITRA" PROGRAMME
It gives me great pleasure in introducing you the various courses started by OIHSRC. In very short span, OIHSRC has established itself as a pioneering institute in the field of health care education specifically EMS. It has the support of professionally dedicated faculty and the leadership provided by Dr. Mrs. Pooja Kadam. The excellent response by the students in the form of enrollment and the feedback has encouraged Oasis to introduce a few more courses in healthcare sector.
All these courses are devised and formulated with the involvement of experts in the respective disciplines. The institute has obtained affiliations from well known and established Universities such as YCMOU, TMV ; further it is also in the process of achieving InternationalTraining Organization status.
DISASTER MANAGEMENT LECTURES
The natural calamities like the recent TSUNAMI or the EARTHQUAKES created chaos & serve as rd alerts towards the poor standards of our disaster management. Time & again lives have been lost because of delayed medical aid.
In case of such disasters provision of medical aid, in time, by adequately trained personnel, even before the patient reaches the safety of the hospital can spell the difference between life & death. Taking cognizance of this need, the OIHS has arranged lectures in disaster management not only for doctors but also for lay person in the society. SEMINARS ON CARRIER OPPORTUNITIES IN UK
The sky is the limit as far as career potential is concern. By keeping this in mind & by knowing the urge of students for making carrier in abroad, OASIS has arranged seminar on Carrier opportunities in U.K. "Mr.Kaised" (Academic coordinator of London school of commerce U.K.) was present as a speaker. He gave brief information about various undergraduate & post graduate courses conducted by LSC, UK & the entire admission procedure for each specific programme.
Dr. Pooja Kadam (president) also took lecture for social group of 5-50 women & journalist of ‘prabhat’news paper.’
